$1B one-time charge for Xbox 360 repairs

Microsoft announced that it will take a charge this quarter in the range of $1.05B to $1.15B due to complaints about failures for its Xbox 360 video game console. The company also announced a new extended warranty for the hardware. Stock dipped slightly to $29.81 after closing at $29.99
