Korean Development Bank in talks to acquire stake of Lehman

On Wednesday, September 3, the state-owned Korean Development Bank (KDB) announced that it was in talks to acquire a stake in Lehman Brothers by injecting capital into the embattled investment bank. Though unconfirmed, KDB was rumored to have offered to buy a 25% stake in Lehman.
