Blu-ray vs. HD DVD

Los Angeles, CA, May 7, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dread Central, the premiere website for sci-fi and horror fans, has launched today an exclusive Motion Comic promotion for "Humans Vs Zombies."  The popular role-playing game is the subject of a new feature film release onto DVD and Blu-Ray  from Hannover House (Pinksheets:  HHSE), which will appear on retail shelves later this month.  The Motion Comic tells the prequel story leading up to the point that the feature film begins.  The feature film, "Humans Vs. Zombies," was directed by Brian T. Jaynes ("Boggy Creek").  The HVZ Motion Comic was written, produced and directed by Anthony Perez, and will also appear as a bonus feature on DVD and Blu-ray copies of the film.

Hannover House reports that pre-sale orders for "Humans Vs. Zombies" have set a new record for the company, with some retailers (such as WalMart) ordering more than twice the quantity of units as previously established for other Hannover House releases.  The consumer campaign in support of the DVD and Blu-Ray release also includes an on-pack, full color "printed" comic book, as well as national cable television commercials during the month of May on Chiller Network (a division of NBC Universal).
