Cellulosic Ethanol or , even better, butanol, from woody feedstock is a step that has not been mastered yet by all accounts. Alternative energy copanies are focusing on the softer plants like switch grass, worried that the 'tough' nature of the woodier feedstock will be too much of a challenge to prioritise; so wood producing companies are not in clover yet
