Andrew G. Gordon of Direct Impact Group Chosen to Judge the 2009 DMA International ECHO Awards

NEEDHAM, Mass., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrew G. Gordon, President of Direct Impact Group, has been selected to judge the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) 2009 International ECHO Awards. The awards show is a global competition that honors excellence in creativity, marketing strategy, and response results in direct marketing campaigns.

The 2009 ECHO Awards will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, October 20, 2009. The DMA first introduced this awards ceremony in 1929. In addition to Gold, Silver, and Bronze ECHO Awards, there are seven additional special awards. Andrew G. Gordon will be judging one of these awards, specifically, the A. Eicoff Broadcast Innovation Award.

Chosen among the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners, in cooperation with the DMA Broadcast Council and the ECHO committee, The A. Eicoff Broadcast Innovation Award recognizes a campaign for the most innovative use of the direct broadcast media.
