If growth investing means buying the fastest growing companies regardless of price, I would drop the word "investing" from the term and replace it with "speculation".
If the above average growth is already included in the price of the company, as it most of the time is, the only reason to buy the stock is to expect that the there will be a "greater fool" who will purchase the stock from you later at a higher price.
