If a terrorist threat does occur, the airline industry still wouldn't be affected too much due to the seeming insignificance of one terror threat on a whole industry. However, shareholders might opt to sell some shares due to fear. This selling would only be short term and the overall 12-year airline industry cycle wouldn't be affected.
