This is an interesting subject with a lot of room for expansion. Some questions that come to mind are: Which companies are currently generate the largest amount of revenues for luxury goods in China? Which companies generate the largest percentage of their revenues in China? How much do the companies feel that counterfeiting is cutting into their profits? What companies could benefit from expanded Chinese tourism? Las Vegas comes to mind. And finally, when categories of luxury articles are mentioned, I did not see electronics. I would think items such as laptop computers and flat screen TVs would have tremendous growth opportunities.
