I think this article could do with the addition of a few more subtopics. The rise in digital projectors in theaters being the main one. Several studios are now paying to have the projectors installed in theaters as a way to increase attendance. Also, this helps with 3-d movie distribution like the recent Beowulf. Also, there is no mention of Imax in the article. They have over 300 theaters in 40 countries. 60% are in North america, and the other 40% are spread intermationally. Half the theaters are part of regular movie theaters, and the other half are associated with museums and aquariums. Imax is a publically traded company under the symbol (IMAX).
