this is definitely a good investment. buying homes now at low prices and interest rates will allow the investor the opportunity to sell later to individuals at a higher rate

This is a very well written article. I think it give a very good overview of the impact of the housing market on the U.S. economy. A couple if items that may be of interest to add to the article: How many people are employed in home construction, sales and the mortgage business. I think the housing down turn has a double effect on the economy because so many are employed in these areas. Also a note about regionality of the housing market. How some markets do well while others do poorly based on local conditions. Again, I think this is a very good article, just keep the info up to date as the months roll on.
