Please consider replacing"stock" with "security" or "asset". Why? Because stock is too narrow a term here---value investing applies to debt instruments too.

Revamping "What Factors do Value Investors Use?" Section

That section provides a very good overview of what value investors look for, but readers of this page are looking for something more concrete. I am in the process of adding a new section: "Factors Used by Value Investors in Evaluating Securities," which I am moving to the second item in the article. Much of the text from the previous "What Factors do Value Investors Use?" will appear in this section; if you wrote that section and would like to discuss how best to integrate this information please contact me. Thanks! Armcharles 15:44, October 10, 2008 (PDT)

Bias?

This article has no citations and is biased, as it is clearly written from the perspective of a value investor (or proponent of). That's not to say that value investing doesn't have its merits. Iamitamin 14:10, April 10, 2009 (PDT)
