Contract Size
One South American Soybean futures contract on the Chicago Board of Trade is 5,000 bushels.[1]
Daily Price Limit
$0.50 per bushel above or below the previous day's settlement price. There shall be no price limits on the current month contract on or after the second business day preceding the first day of the delivery month.[1]
Last Trading Day
Trading of South American Soybean futures contracts on the Chicago Board of Trade ends on the business day prior to the 15th calendar day of the contract month.[1]
Deliverable South American Soybean grades for futures contracts on the Chicago Board of Trade are: ANEC 41 Standards For Brazilian Soybeans (Effective January 1, 2005) Basis Bulk Carrier, Delivered Free On board, Stowed and Trimmed.[1]
