Exide Technologies Appointed an Approved Supplier to Federated Auto Parts

MILTON, Ga., May 20, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Exide Technologies (Nasdaq:XIDE) (www.exide.com), a global leader in stored electrical-energy solutions, announces that the Company has been appointed as an approved supplier to Federated Auto Parts. This designation allows Exide to supply batteries and battery-related services to the membership of Federated Auto Parts, which includes 155 distribution centers and more than 4,000 auto parts stores across North America.
