Vietnam said it resolutely opposes a temporary Chinese ban on fishing in the Gulf of Tonkin, the latest in a series of sovereignty disputes in and around the South China Sea.


Although many are familiar with the moniker made in China, Vietnam has become a major center of manufacturing in recent years. It has become especially attractive as wages in China have risen making manufacturing there more expensive.
