GREEN BAY, Wis., April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- S&L Motors, a Green Bay Chrysler dealer, had quite the busy March and judging by the sales reports across the United States, they weren't the only Chrysler Group dealership that was selling vehicles left and right.
Everyone of Chrysler Group's brands(Chrysler, Dodge, FIAT, Jeep and Ram Trucks) all posted increases in sales, over March of last year. This is extremely impressive, especially for Ram Trucks and some Jeep models, as gas prices are increasing throughout the world. Chrysler Group's vehicle redesigns and new model infusion is really paying dividends as sales continue to boom at Chrysler Group dealerships throughout the U.S., including S&L Motors.
Reid Bigland, Dodge's President/CEO and also Head of U.S. Sales, believes that this strong March can be attributed to several factors, stating that, "The combination of credit availability, an improving economy, pent-up demand and even high fuel prices encouraging people to acquire newer more fuel-efficient vehicles are all helping to drive industry sales. Thanks to these factors we experienced sales strength across the board with our March sales up 34 percent and our first quarter sales up a whopping 39 percent."
