Green Bay, Wisconsin Chrysler Dealer Applauds Chrysler Group's Diversity Efforts

GREEN BAY, Wis., May 16, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- S&L Motors, a Chrysler dealership in Green Bay, couldn't be more proud of Chrysler Group's efforts to not only promote diversity, but also sustainability, as they pair up 40 Chrysler Group dealerships with 70 minority-owned suppliers in California today!
Peter Grady, VP of Network Development & Fleet and member of Chrysler Group's Diversity Council, talked about how this matchmaking event wouldn't be a one-time deal, stating that, "We are hoping to create some long-lasting relationships between our California dealers and these minority-owned suppliers and vendors. We would like to continue these matchmaking events in other parts of the country."
Today's meeting will include more than 200 different representatives from both Chrysler Group dealerships as well as suppliers throughout California. The event will be taking place at the Balboa Club & Resort in Newport Beach and marks the thirteenth year, dating back to 1999, that Chrysler Group has held the Supplier Matchmaker event.
