Portfolio Brokerage Import Help

This page is designed to give brokerage-specific instructions to uses having trouble importing their data to Wikinvest's Portfolio. If you continue to have difficulty importing your account, please let us know.

Common Issues

• Several brokerages require you to enable Quicken direct connect support. You can often do this while logged into your brokerage's website, but you may need to call them directly.
• Some institutions (generally banks with brokerage services such as UBS, Chase, etc.) may issue you a different set of login credentials for Quicken direct connect access through Wikinvest. In these cases, the login credentials you enter will NOT be the same username and password as when you login directly to your brokerage.
• Wikinvest's Portfolio is completely free, however, some institutions such as Wells Fargo / Wells Trade charge a monthly fee for direct connect service.

Brokerages

Franklin Templeton

Please note that you will need to register for Quicken direct connect access at www.franklintempleton.com in order to import your account to Wikinvest. If you have any trouble activating Quicken direct connect online, please call Frank Templeton directly to request it.

Hewitt

Please note that Hewitt accounts use your SSN and company ID, separated by a hyphen, in the Customer ID field. For example, "765432110-companyid"

Janus

Please note that Janus uses your SSN as your Username. Your ATM PIN and Janus.com PIN are the same 4-8 numbers.

Mercer 401k

Please note that Mercer 401K uses your SSN as your Username.

UBS

Please note you may need to call UBS support to activate Quicken direct connect in order to use Wikinvest's portfolio tracker. When you do this, UBS will provide you with separate login credentials for use logging in from Wikinvest.

Morgan Stanley

Please note that this import supports non-ClientServ clients, only. If you use https://www.morganstanleyclientserv.com/ to access your account, please go back to the account add screen and choose Morgan Stanley ClientServ.

Morgan Stanley ClientServ

Please note that this import supports ClientServ clients, only. If you do not use https://www.morganstanleyclientserv.com/ to access your account, please go back to the account add screen and choose Morgan Stanley.

Oppenheimer & Co.

Please note that you should be using your Oppenheimer Client Website ID and Password. If you do not have these, please contact your financial advisor to request Quicken direct connect access.

Pershing

Please note that Pershing Advisor clients should use their Netexchange Investor ID and password.

T Rowe Price

Please note your Username and Password are truncated to the first 10 characters. For example: if your username is "jonathanalexander" and password is "wikinvestportfolio", you should enter your Username as "jonathanal" and Password as "wikinvestp".

UBS

Please note you may need to call UBS support to activate Quicken direct connect in order to use Wikinvest's portfolio tracker. When you do this, UBS will provide you with separate login credentials for use logging in from Wikinvest.

USAA

Please note that your PIN is your 4-digit ATM pin, not the password you use to access USAA's website.

Vanguard

Please note your login Password is truncated to the first 10 characters. For example, if your password is "wikinvestportfolio", you should enter your password as "wikinvestp".

Wells Fargo / Wells Trade

Please note that Wells Fargo account holders must activate Quicken direct connect support for their account, either via their website or by calling them directly, in order to import their account to Wikinvest. Wikinvest's portfolio tracker is free, but Wells Fargo charges a monthly fee for you to export your data, which they will apply once you active direct connect on your account. As far as we know, Wells Fargo is one of the few brokerages that charge a fee for this service
