Shares of Concurrent Computer Corporation (Nasdaq: CCUR) are plunging during after hours trading, after the company reported an unexpected loss late on Monday.
Concurrent Computer Corporation reported a fiscal 1st quarter net loss of $1.2 million, or 14 cents per share, compared to a net loss of $1.0 million, or 12 cents per share, a year earlier.
Revenue rose to $15.5 million, up from $12.8 million a year earlier.

CCUR broke out on earnings, but the volume, even though it was high on a relative basis, was still next to nothing. After peaking out back in April, this established a resistance level at 5.50, which it gapped over yesterday, only to come back to test it, the perfect buy point if you were inclined to buy before earnings, or if you knew in advance of the report what the numbers were. Not that anyone did, I'm sure it's just another coincidence.
