Amortization of Acquired Intangible Assets

Amortization of acquired intangible assets increased $0.5 million in the nine months ended September 30, 2008 to $29.5 million as compared to $29.0 million in the same period in 2007 because of incremental amortization associated with the Shimoda Biotech and Platco Technologies acquisitions in April 2008.
