Arcadian Health Names Rick Click as New Chief Information Officer

OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Arcadian Health Plans and Arcadian Management Services, known as "Arcadian Health," announced today that Rick Click has been appointed as the new Chief Information Officer, effective September 14th, 2009.

Mr. Click brings more than 20 years of experience to Arcadian Health. As the CIO, he heads the company's national IT department and its related functions, servicing all of the company's offices and operational facilities. Previously, Mr. Click held the position of SVP and Global CIO for Abraxis BioScience. In addition, he has held senior positions at Molina Healthcare (CIO), eBay's PayPal unit, Honeywell International and Zenith Electronics. Rick Click is also a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and the author of two books on business process outsourcing (BPO).

"Rick's diverse experience in developing information technology strategies will be instrumental in Arcadian Health's investment in the infrastructure that enhances the experience for our members, providers and brokers," said Robert Fahlman, Arcadian Health's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Click holds a BS and MBA from California Coast University, and began his career in the US Army in the National Security Agency (NSA). He recently was selected as the "2009 Information Technology Executive of the Year" by the American Business Association.
