48, has been our Senior Vice President, Research and Development, since July 2005,
and from March 2004 to June 2005, he served as our Vice President,
Surgical Research and Business Development. From August 2002 to February 2004,
Dr. Borrmann was President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of
Insert Therapeutics, Inc., a privately-held drug delivery company focused
on development of novel drug delivery technologies, and from December 2000
to March 2002, he was President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of
Maret Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately-held drug development company. From
May 1998 to September 2000, Dr. Borrmann was the Chief Executive
Officer and a director of ACADIA Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a privately-held
neuroscience drug discovery company.
