This excerpt taken from the EYE 10-K filed Mar 14, 2006. How Vision Works. Vision is enabled by the
cornea and the lens, which work together to focus light, and the iris, which
regulates the amount of light that passes through the cornea onto the retina.
The retina contains light-sensitive receptors that transmit the image through
the optic nerve to the brain.
