Intel holds 2/3's of the CPU market and is at $23 dollars a share and they price target was just raised to around 30 dollars per share. AMD is a value buy at the moment with a price target of at least 9 dollars and a rebound of their income in the past 2 years. On a technical not, AMD's bulldozer has not lived up to the hype in terms of performance. However, in the microchip business, engineers are constantly refining the chips even after the first editions have headed out to market. As AMD pumps out revisions of Bulldozer chips, I anticipate much better performance and PC community interest in upgrading to their architecture.
