Aircraft Leasing Companies, are generally the only ones making money in the Aviation business... buy it now while it is low and ride out the cycle. Perhaps many airlines will go bankrupt, lowering the lease price... this will cause the Leasing Company to a) Place aircraft strategically with good customers at a very low rate on a shorter lease, which they can later double or triple as the market recovers; b) Park the airplanes awaiting demand and market recovery. When airlines are on their way to recovery, or new airlines arise to replace those that have folded they don't have money to buy, so the first thing they do is lease, or sell and lease back. As I see it, this is a good time to buy and wait it out for the rise... unless you desperately need the money, at which point you shouldn't be investing, as this process can take years... Did I mention, most leased aircraft are owned by Banks or Large Insurance companies, so the chance of them actually going bankrupt, are much less then another type of company...
