Larry Steinberg Joins Agilysys as Senior Vice President of Technology

ATLANTA, May 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, today announced the appointment of Larry Steinberg to the position of senior vice president of technology.
Steinberg was most recently a development manager for Microsoft, where he focused on automation, interoperability, cross-platform initiatives, and cloud and datacenter management solutions. Steinberg joined Microsoft in 2007 as a result of the company's acquisition of Engyro, where he had served as chief technology officer responsible for strategic technology initiatives, product development and solution services delivery.

Steinberg holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Kent State University. He was a founder and director of Dirigo, Inc., an enterprise systems management company that delivered commercial products and services to the management industry. He also founded and managed eSpecto Inc., which specialized in the development of e-business monitoring and management software applications.
