Air China Expands Domestic and International Flights

BEIJING, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- In step with the speedy recovery of the Chinese aviation industry over the past six months, Air China has announced that it will be expanding a number of its domestic and international flight routes. On the domestic side, Air China has launched four new routes. On the international side, Air China has launched two new routes, one between Beijing International Airport and Tokyo Haneda International Airport, the other one between Hangzhou and Frankfurt.

Expanding the Number of Flights in Europe, Increasing Travelers' Choices

Starting on December 20th 2009, Air China will resume its Beijing-Madrid-Sao Paulo service. Starting on October 25th, Air China will increase the number of flights from Beijing to Stockholm, with an A330 departing from Beijing every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Concurrently, Air China will offer a daily flight from Beijing to Rome for the first time. In addition, starting on October 27th, Air China will launch a direct flight from Hangzhou to Frankfurt

Improved Asia-Pacific Routes

From December 14th, 2009 to January 31st, 2010, there will be five weekly flights between Beijing and Sydney. From November 30th, 2009 to February 27th, 2010, there will be five flights a week between Beijing, Shanghai and Melbourne, departing every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. To better accommodate the increasing interest in the Japanese tourism market, from October 25th, Air China will add two daily flights between Beijing International Airport and Tokyo Haneda International Airport, a new Tokyo route, bringing the total number of daily flights between Beijing and Tokyo to five.

Air China Launches Three New Domestic Routes

To accommodate the increasing demand for domestic flights, from October 25th, Air China will launch three new domestic routes, including Beijing to Daqing, which will depart daily; Chengdu to Zhuhai, which will depart every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday; and Shenzhen to Dazhou, which will depart every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Air China Now Flies from Six Mainland Cities to Taipei

On August 31st, 2009, Air China launched routes from six Mainland cities to Taipei. 27 roundtrip flights are available every week, including seven from Beijing, six from Shanghai Pudong airport, five from Hangzhou, four from Chengdu, three from Chongqing and two from Tianjin.
