Allied World Schedules Third Quarter 2009 Earnings Announcement and Conference Call

PEMBROKE, Bermuda, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Allied World Assurance Company Holdings, Ltd (NYSE: AWH) today announced that it will release its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009, after the close of market on Thursday, November 5, 2009.

Scott Carmilani, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Joan Dillard, Chief Financial Officer, will host a conference call on Friday, November 6, 2009, at 8:30 am (Eastern Time) to discuss the third quarter 2009 financial results. This call will include a question and answer session.
