Analog Devices’ New Organization Expands Roles of Senior Executives McAdam and Roche

Analog Devices, Inc. (NYSE: ADI) today announced new, expanded roles for Vice Presidents Robert (Robbie) McAdam and Vincent Roche, as part of an organizational change that strengthens the company’s focus on delivering world-class signal processing products and support to customers.

McAdam and Roche will lead two new groups, reporting to President and CEO Jerry Fishman. Vice President Robbie McAdam leads the Core Products and Technologies (CPT) group, which focuses on strengthening ADI’s number-one market share position in converters and high-performance amplifiers, and growing the portfolio of RF (radio frequency), power, MEMS (micro-electromechanical systems), and DSP (digital signal processing) products.

Vice President Vincent Roche leads the new Strategic Market Segments (SMS) group, which focuses on integrating ADI technology into optimized solutions for automotive, industrial, medical, consumer, and communications infrastructure customers. Ensuring these customers have a clear path to engage with ADI, Mr. Roche also is responsible for the Worldwide Sales organization, which continues to represent the company’s world-class product portfolio across all markets around the globe.

“We are very fortunate to have two experienced and universally respected leaders in Robbie and Vincent, who know our business so well, have been important drivers of our success for many years, and are ready to take on these significantly expanded roles,” said Jerry Fishman, president and CEO. “Leveraging their knowledge and acumen, we are putting in place a new organizational structure that aligns with what is most relevant to ADI’s strategic priorities today and in the foreseeable future – technology to enable continuous product innovation that defines ADI and applications insight to enable system-level innovation for customers.”

Robbie McAdam has served as vice president of the Analog Semiconductor Division since 1999 and has been the vice president responsible for ADI’s analog technology since 1994, including the industry-leading data converter and amplifier products. He joined Analog Devices in 1984 as a marketing manager in Limerick, Ireland, advancing to product line director and general manager over the next 10 years. Before joining ADI, he served as European marketing manager for General Electric's semiconductor division. Mr. McAdam earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in engineering from University College Dublin in Ireland.

Vincent Roche has served as vice president of Worldwide Sales for ADI since 2002. In this role, he was responsible for direct customer sales, distribution, and e-commerce for all product lines, as well as corporate marketing and public relations. Mr. Roche began his career at ADI in 1988 as a senior marketing engineer in Limerick, Ireland. Over the next several years he created and managed many new analog businesses, generating significant revenue and intellectual property for ADI. In 1994, he moved to the U.S. to run ADI’s San Jose, California, operations. Mr. Roche earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Limerick University in Ireland.

Functioning alongside ADI’s existing Worldwide Manufacturing and Corporate Operations groups, the two new groups are designed to bring to bear the full breadth of ADI’s products, technology, technical support, and supply chain expertise to address customer needs more responsively and in more market-specific ways than ever before.
