Elements of the Compensation Program
The Companys executive compensation program is simple in design. The compensation program for the named executive officers, other than Mr. Jobs, consists of three elements, listed in order of their importance:
The named executive officers are also eligible to participate in the Companys health and welfare programs, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401(k) Plan, and other employee recognition programs on the same basis as other employees.
As noted above, in light of Mr. Jobss significant equity holdings in the Company, his compensation consists of a salary of $1 per year, and the Compensation Committee from time to time considers additional compensation arrangements for him.
