Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) announced today at its 86th
Annual Stockholders’ Meeting that nine incumbent directors were
re-elected to its Board. The directors re-elected are: George W.
Buckley, Mollie Hale Carter, Donald E. Felsinger, Victoria F. Haynes,
Antonio Maciel Neto, Patrick J. Moore, Thomas F. O’Neill, Kelvin R.
Westbrook and Patricia A. Woertz.
M. Brian Mulroney did not stand for re-election pursuant to the
Company’s corporate governance guidelines.
Cash Dividend Declared
The Board of Directors of ADM also
declared a cash dividend of 14 cents per share on the Company’s stock
payable December 10, 2009, to Stockholders of record November 19, 2009.
This is ADM’s 312th consecutive quarterly payment, a record
of 78 years of uninterrupted dividends. As of September 30, 2009, there
were 642,276,604 shares of ADM stock outstanding.
