Motorola filed a patent violation suit in a U.S. District Court against Aruba related to Aruba’s core wireless LAN technology. Motorola said that Aruba violated four patents held by Motorola’s subsidiaries, Symbol Technologies and Wireless Valley Communication.
Aruba, the second largest wireless LAN provider added Prudential Fox & Roach as its customer after Prudential preferred Aruba over Cisco, the largest LAN provider. Aruba has almost doubled its market share after it had gone public in March 2007.
