Atmel Schedules Third Quarter 2009 Earnings Release and Conference Call

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Atmel® Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML) will hold a conference call Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 2 p.m. PT to discuss the Company's third quarter 2009 financial results. Participating in the call will be Steven Laub, Atmel President and CEO and Stephen Cumming, VP Finance and CFO. The earnings release will be issued at the close of market that day.

The conference call will be webcast live and can also be monitored by dialing 1-800-374-0405 or 1-706-634-5185.
