Jeff D. Heggedahl Named President and CEO of Advantage IQ

SPOKANE, Wash., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Avista Corp. (NYSE: AVA) has named Jeff D. Heggedahl as president and chief executive officer of its subsidiary Advantage IQ effective Dec. 1, 2009. Advantage IQ is a provider of expense management solutions for over 500 multi-site companies throughout North America.

Prior to joining Avista, Heggedahl was the president and chief executive officer of Scantron Corporation, Minneapolis, Minn., a testing and assessment company with expertise in software, survey and data capture. Previously, he served as president of Harland Printed Products and Marketing Services, a subsidiary of John H. Harland Company, Atlanta, Ga.

Heggedahl is a 1987 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn., where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and communications. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn., and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, Cambridge, Mass.
