New Investments - Perdigãos growth strategy is centered on boosting its principal business: animal protein-based food products which are distributed using refrigerated transportation methods. This strategy rests on the fact that Brazil has the ideal conditions for becoming one of the worlds principal suppliers of animal protein. An industry trend in developed countries is the tendency for production to migrate to more competitive locations. Perdigão will remain alert to new growth opportunities, which provide a sustainable competitive base and are able to meet demand from both the domestic and international markets.
