BHI had a decent 2Q08, and posted results recently. Earnings came in at $1.36 per share, $0.12 above the estimate of $1.24 per share. Analysts have been taking the company's annual estimates up as a result, with 22 out of 22 analysts raising the firm's annual earnings expectations for both 2008 and 2009 to levels of $5.50 and $6.58 per share in the respective 2808 and 2009 years. Those levels are up from $5.30 per share for '08 and $6.20 per share in '09. Those increases have been posted over the last 90 days.
BHI continues to see growth in its revenues, posting numbers that many companies only dream about. Comparing year-over-year (YOY) quarters, BHI's revenues are expected to rise to $3.12 billion during 3Q08, a gain of over 16% from last year's 3Q07 revenues of $2.68 billion. Analysts are expecting a $12.08 billion dollar revenue level for 2008, a gain of 15.8% over last year's $10.4 billion. For the year ending December 2009, expectations are that revenues climb above $14 billion, another gain of 16% YOY.
BHI's balance sheet has $1.0 billion in cash, or about $4.00 per share. The debt they carry amounts to roughly $1.6 billion, which is very manageable within the company's revenue stream. The firm's EBITDA is $2.9 billion on a trailing 12-month basis.
