Barratt Developments Plc is a United Kingdom-based company engaged in housebuilding and development. The subsidiaries of the Company include Barratt Homes Limited, KingsOak Homes Limited, Barratt Commercial Limited, Wilson Bowden Limited, David Wilson Homes Limited and Ward Homes Limited, all of which are engaged in housebuilding and development, and Wilson Bowden Developments Limited, is involved in commercial development. The Company offers a product range from first-time buyer homes to luxury apartments and family homes. It operates throughout Great Britain, and at June 30, 2007, it was selling from 590 sites spread over 35 divisions. It has built 2,833 homes for the housing association partners. The Company completed its acquisition of Wilson Bowden on April 26, 2007. As of June 30, 2007, the Company’s overall housebuilding operation delivered 17,168 completions.
