How does the Company promote diversity?
Mutual respect is at the heart of the Companys practices, procedures and guidelines, all of which are regularly reviewed and reported upon to the Chief Executive Officer to assure that our commitment to diversity is reflected in our operations. There are women and members of minority groups in management positions at virtually all levels of the Company, including nine women Vice Presidents. Hiring and advancement are based upon merit. This is consistent with the Companys policy and practice to recruit, hire, train, promote, transfer, compensate and provide all other conditions of employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, lawful alien status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, citizenship status or veteran status.
Following receipt of this proposal, Company management initiated a dialogue with the proponents, seeking their additional input on resources or other materials that might assist the Company in its ongoing efforts to recruit qualified persons of all groups at all levels as and when need arises. The Company expects this dialogue to be fruitful.
