Operating expenses For the year ended December 31, 2006 as compared to the year ended December 31, 2005, operating expenses were $17.84 per Boe compared with $13.73, an increase of 30%. This increase was due to overall increases in labor, service, insurance and production and property tax costs, primarily in California operations. Higher property taxes in 2006 added $1.93 per Boe to operating expenses. For the year ended December 31, 2005 as compared to the year ended December 31, 2004, operating expenses were $13.73 per Boe compared with $13.35 per Boe, an increase of 3%. |
