I have been retired now for almost 10 years and each year when all prices rise, I adjust my budget accordingly and manage to pay my two credit cards in full each month, cut back on all expenditures not necessary and have a 15 year old auto and my home free and clear. Each year it gets much harder, but I tighten my belt and manage to stay free of debt.
Why in this world is our government handed these jerks money on a golden platter and put no controls on securing repayment of our money. The outlandish salaries, bonuses, and golden parachutes should be eliminated before any company is given money to burn. DAM, it makes me mad and I worry very much about the diminished future my two little granddaughters will have because of this rampant stupidity/greed from the government and companies. In my opinion, we would be light years ahead if this scam of "to big to fail" was never used and the excuse. No company is too big to fail!
