China Southern Airlines Co. declined $3.85, or 7.7 percent, to $45.95, in response to rising fuel costs, one of the largest expenses for the airline industry.
China Southern Airlines announced an increase in the total traffic turnover for the first six months of 2007. The passenger revenue increased by 20.2 percent to RMB 22,392 million, while the revenue from cargo and mail increased by 6.1 percent to RMB 1,694 million.
