The acquisition of Multivita sp. z o.o. (2003)

On October 2, 2003, we acquired, jointly with The Coca-Cola Company, 100% of the shares of Multivita sp. z o.o., the Polish mineral water company owned by Maspex sp. z o.o. Our company acquired the business except for the trademark, which was acquired by The Coca-Cola Company. Total consideration for the acquisition was €21.0 million (excluding acquisition costs), of which our share was €10.5 million. In addition, €0.7 million of debt was assumed. Our transaction costs amounted to €0.5 million.
