Cycle Country Accessories Corp. (AMEX:ATC) announces a net loss of $1.04 per share for the three months ended June 30, 2009, versus a gain of .06 cents per share for the three months ended June 30, 2008. For the quarter, total revenue declined by 64.81%, from $3,469,258 to $1,220,692.

For the three months of the year, the company has a loss of $1.08 per share versus a gain of 0.10 cents per share earnings for last year at this time. For the same period, total revenue declined by 42.13% from $12,382,500 to $7,165,560.

The decline in revenue for the 3rd Quarter affected three of our four business segments, with a decrease of 76.57% in Cycle Country ATV Accessories, and a 47.58% decrease in Plazco, and Imdyne showed a decline of 57.99%. Perf-Form showed a gain of 19.05%.

For the 9-month the company reports a decline in their Cycle Country ATV Accessories of 39.17%, Plazco of 62.90%, Perf-Form of 18.06%, and Imdyne of 47.93%

Based on the overall economic climate and the recent state of the industries in which the Company operates in, the company has recognized an impairment of goodwill in the third quarter in the amount of $4,980,146, or .93 cents per share. The Company also increased its reserve for obsolete or excess inventory in the amount of $610,105, or .11 cents per share. (See Cycle Country third quarter 2009 10Q report filed August 19, 2009.)

The Company expects 2010 to return to profitability. Management has reduced its operating overhead, and is currently reducing all costs of manufacturing to widen margins. Additionally, management processes have been reviewed to reduce cost consistent with the environment.
