Danaher's Q4 net income fell 5%, from $320 million (97 cents per share) 1 year ago to $306 million (92 cents per share).
Net earnings rose 17 percent to $363.4 million, or $1.09 per share, in the second quarter from $311.2 million, or 96 cents per share, a year earlier. The rise was due to high performance in the industrial components segment (53% growth due to acquisitions) and medical technologies segment (10% growth).
