Dataram Joins Storage Networking Industry Alliance

Dataram Corporation (NASDAQ: DRAM), a worldwide leader of advanced memory solutions, today announced that it has joined the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), a global organization comprised of more than 400 member companies that share the common goal of advancing the adoption of storage networks as complete and trusted solutions. The SNIA and its members develop industry standards, education and best practices that help expand the breadth and quality of the storage networking market.

Dataram recently announced its entry into the storage marketplace with an upcoming introduction of an innovative acceleration solution that will deliver application performance improvements and cost savings without the need for expensive storage upgrades or replacements. The company has a 42-year history of providing reliability, quality and cost efficiency in its leading-edge memory solutions for a wide range of commercial and government applications.

“As we prepare for our formal launch into the storage industry, it made perfect sense to become an integral part of that community by joining the membership of SNIA,” said John H. Freeman, Dataram's President and CEO. “With shared commitments to improving storage performance, reliability and ROI, we are pleased to join this industry-leading association and look forward to working with fellow members in the pursuit of better storage solutions based on agreed-upon standards for customers worldwide.”

"We welcome Dataram to the SNIA and are happy that they have made a commitment to make storage and data management a strategic investment for end users through the advancement of new technologies and standards that help manage the ever-growing volumes of business information," said Wayne M. Adams, Chairman of the SNIA. "We anticipate that Dataram will be a proactive member of the association helping to support our shared mission and deliverables that expand the industry and we look forward to their contributions within our organization."
