Dresser-Rand Group updates its 3Q forecast; impact of strike in Painted Post facility higher than ex Dresser-Rand Group Inc. revised its forecast for the 3Q operating income to $32-36 million due to the impact of a strike in its Painted Post facility and slower recovery in aftermarket sales. The impact of the strike will be more than $18 million (which was the high end of the range predicted earlier). The company expects to reduce the strike’s impact by 25% in the fourth quarter.
