EON Reality Announces Its First Mobile Fully Immersive 3D Display Solution, EON Mobile Icube
IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 10/26/09 -- EON Reality, the world's leading interactive 3D
software provider, announces the EON Mobile Icube. The display solution
will be used primarily for collaborative immersive applications in
training, education and also for events presenting new products using full
immersion.
The EON Mobile Icube is a complete turnkey visualization and virtual
reality system with 3 walls for full immersion and reconfigurable from
U-shape to power wall. It provides a high quality 3D graphics system, built
on PC cluster technology, providing 3D immersion with motion tracking and
VR interactive devices.
The idea is to expand on the successful fixed EON Icube solution with EON
Professional software and target a use scenario where an Icube system needs
to move from location to location and be set-up in a few hours by an AV
technician.
The new EON Mobile Icube system has been developed based on the new Texas
Instruments 3D DLP technology together with an innovative flexible screen
technology and a short throw mirror free display configuration.
The first customer installation of this technology will take place during
the fall of 2009 and we expect that the availability of the EON Mobile
Icube will open up for use in areas that have previously been cost or space
inhibited to use traditional fixed Icube technology, examples would be AEC,
medical trade shows and safety field training.
