PayPal posted another excellent quarter of Total Payment Volume (TPV) and revenue growth, primarily driven by its Merchant Services business, with acceleration in both.
 
PayPal net revenues totaled a record $470 million in Q3-07, representing a year-over-year growth rate of 35%. Global TPV was $12.22 billion in Q3-07, representing a year-over-year increase of 34%. PayPal Merchant Services contributed $5.38 billion globally to the $12.22 billion in global TPV in Q3-07, representing a year-over-year increase of 61%.
 
Communications
 
Skype delivered a third consecutive quarter of segment profitability, excluding the goodwill impairment charge of $1.39 billion. Geographically, all three major regions, Europe, North America and Asia exhibited robust revenue growth.

PayPal had another exceptional quarter, with accelerating Total Payment Volume (TPV) and revenue growth. PayPal’s Merchant Services business recorded outstanding results, as PayPal expanded its global footprint to new geographies and currencies during the quarter.
 
PayPal net revenues totaled a record $454 million in Q2-07, a growth rate of 34% over the $339 million reported in Q2-06. Global TPV was $11.69 billion in Q2-07, a 32% increase from the $8.86 billion reported in Q2-06.
 
PayPal Merchant Services contributed $4.92 billion globally to the $11.69 billion in global TPV in Q2-07, representing a 57% increase from the $3.13 billion reported in Q2-06.

eBay’s users generated a total of 588 million listings in Q1-07, 2% higher than the 575 million listings reported in Q1-06. These listings led to eBay GMV of $14.28 billion in Q1-07, representing a 14% year-over-year increase from the $12.50 billion reported in Q1-06.

PayPal had a excellent quarter, with robust Total Payment Volume (TPV) growth, driven by increased eBay penetration around the world and another outstanding performance from its Merchant Services business.
 
PayPal net revenues totaled $439 million in Q1-07, a growth rate of 31% over the $335 million reported in Q1-06. PayPal had 143 million total accounts at the end of Q1-07, a 36% increase from the 105 million reported at the end of Q1-06. Those accounts helped drive record TPV of $11.36 billion in Q1-07, a 30% increase from the $8.77 billion reported in Q1-06.
 
PayPal Merchant Services contributed a record $4.38 billion to the $11.36 billion in global TPV in Q1-07, representing a 51% increase from the $2.91 billion reported in Q1-06.

Q1-07 was a very productive quarter for Skype, with continued momentum in user growth, and the launch of several new products intended to build community engagement and fuel Skype monetization over time.

Our Skype business continued to grow at an impressive pace, driven by rapid user growth and continued innovation of Skype’s hardware and software ecosystem.
 
Skype net revenues totaled $50 million in Q3-06, representing a 13% increase from the $44 million reported in Q2-06.
