Financial Statements
We prepare our
Consolidated Financial Statements included in this Annual Report in
accordance with Irish generally accepted accounting principles
(Irish GAAP), which differ in certain significant respects from
accounting principles generally accepted in the United States
(U.S. GAAP). For discussion of the significant differences
between Irish GAAP and U.S. GAAP, please refer to U.S. GAAP information
beginning on page 117 of this Annual Report. We also prepare separate
Consolidated Financial Statements on Form 20-F pursuant to the rules
and regulation of the SEC in the United States and in accordance with U.S.
GAAP. The Form 20-F under U.S. GAAP is a separate document from this
Annual Report.
