Electronics for Imaging announced its Q3 results, which were below analysts’ expectations. The net income for the quarter was $8.1 million, compared to net loss of $27.7 million last year. The revenue for the quarter was $158.3 million; an increase of 15 percent from last year. However, analysts were expecting revenue of $158.9 million. The results were below expectations mainly due to lower margins of its inkjet business, which negatively impacted its earnings.
