Item 8.01 Other Events.

On August 1, 2012, Esterline Technologies Corporation (“Esterline”) announced the appointment of Marcia Mason to the position Vice President and General Counsel. Ms. Mason previously served as Esterline’s Vice President, Human Resources, which position she held for the past 19 years. Prior to joining Esterline, Ms. Mason was a partner at the Seattle-based law firm, Bogle & Gates PLLC, and focused her practice on labor and employment law.

Esterline also announced the appointment of Tom Heine to the position of Vice President, Human Resources. Mr. Heine most recently served as VP, Leadership & Organizational Development at Esterline and has nearly thirty years of human resources experience.
